The latest 90s revival is the perfect update to your post-lockdown athleisure collection

When Kate Moss wears something, the world sits up and pay attention. Case in point – since daughter Lila recently revealed that her mum often borrows her Adidas Originals tracksuit bottoms, we can’t help but notice the iconic three stripe design popping up on an increasing number of fashion influencers and mere mortals roaming the streets of London. And in a perfectly-timed drop, Gucci’s highly-anticipated collaboration with Adidas launched yesterday, hot on the heels of Michael Kors’ 10-piece capsule collection with retro Italian sportwear brand Ellesse – both of which boast 90s-style trackpants.

To nail the nostalgic look, you obviously can’t go wrong with Adidas Originals’ classic style (£45) à la Kate and Lila, but to channel Gucci’s bright colour palette, we’re drawn to the bold blue and piped front seams of Iets Frans’ drawstring trousers (£44). Looking for a more neutral way into the trend? Topshop’s ecru striped joggers (£32) are the answer, while House of Sunny’s All Star tracksuit pants (£94) come in parma violet and pastel blue shades. But if it’s an investment piece you’re after, Acne’s slogan-adorned Favourit Senior and Bästa Legs styles (£310) will have you covered for both easy airport outfits and lazing around the house. If it’s good enough for chez Moss, who are we to argue?

You’re Going To Love: Artorial
In the latest of our series focusing on up-and-coming independent brands with female and non-binary founders, allow us to introduce you to Artorial

What is it? Launched last month, Artorial is a new online destination offering curated artworks at an accessible price point.

Who’s behind it? Interiors expert Jo Sampson and textile designer Jenny Crosbie, who have worked for the likes of Waterford and Karen Walker respectively. After struggling to source art that fit their budget and aesthetics, the pair decided to create their own collection to make it more achievable and affordable – with all giclée prints priced between £30 and £80.

Why you’ll love it: Described by the founders as “sartorial art for interiors,” the platform brings a tailored approach to selecting the right pieces for you – breaking down prints by category, style and colour so you can easily find exactly what you’re looking for. “Art can be overwhelming to a lot of people,” Crosbie tells Stylist Loves. “Our designs have been created to harmonise and work together, within gallery walls and as standalone hero pieces.” If you’re in need of some inspiration, Refracted from Sampson’s Artist in Residence range, along with the six pattern clash pots featured the brand’s collaboration with interior designer Laura Stephens, are amongst the duo’s favourites – while we have our eye on the five handy gallery wall edits that group together complementary artworks with suggested positions to make creating your own a breeze. Bare walls don’t know what’s about to hit them… From £30; artorial.art
