| This New Zealand haircare brand sells 10,000 bottles a day – and it’s finally available here | If you’ve worked your way through the entire toiletries aisle in your local pharmacy in pursuit of the perfect everyday shampoo and conditioner, you’ll know it’s not easy to find affordable, salon-quality hair products. But since it was founded by entrepreneur Jaimee Lupton in 2018, cult New Zealand brand Monday Haircare has become a bestseller thanks to its glorious gardenia scent, shelfie-worthy packaging and vegan, paraben- and cruelty-free formulas – and now it’s just landed in the UK.
The surprisingly reasonably-priced collection features four types of shampoo and conditioner (gentle, moisture, smooth and volume), which can be mixed and matched according to your specific hair needs. “I went for the smooth shampoo and conditioner, which are infused with vitamin E and ethically-sourced shea butter,” says Stylist’s senior beauty writer Hanna Ibraheem. “After a few washes, my hair genuinely feels softer and a lot healthier – and when I’m done, the bottles are 100% recyclable.” After selling seven bottles every minute when it launched in the US earlier this year, we predict Monday will become a shower staple this side of the Atlantic, too. From £4 for 345ml, available at Beauty Bay and Tesco

| The preppy aesthetic gets a reboot with Indya Moore and Tommy Hilfiger’s new collaboration | Pride month has come and gone – but it’s essential to support the LGBTQ+ community even when the shelves aren’t packed with rainbow merch. One person leading by example is actor and activist Indya Moore, star of Emmy-winning series Pose. From awards speeches to street protests, the non-binary star is determined to bring visibility to marginalised communities – and if you follow them on Instagram, you’ll know they cut a seriously stylish figure, too.
Now, Moore is making waves in the fashion industry with their new collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. Launching today, the size-inclusive, non-gendered capsule reimagines signature pieces from the Tommy Hilfiger archive, with a campaign starring talented LGBTQ+ creatives such as artist and author Chella Man, activist and model Gia Love and intersex advocate Pidgeon. “Moore has given Hilfiger’s traditionally preppy all-American aesthetic a contemporary overhaul,” says Stylist’s fashion features editor Billie Bhatia, singling out the pinstripe suit (£440), satin dungarees (£320) and cropped jacket (£230) as her favourite pieces. “Reinventing the classics – a striped shirt, boxer shorts and a crop top are other highlights – the collection is not meant to swamp the body, but rather celebrate it. Consider us sold.” From £24, Tommy Hilfiger
